SAINTS Animal Rescue

This is an organization that gives me a renewed faith in human beings. SAINTS is an end-of-life sanctuary for senior and special needs animals that have nowhere else to go. How anyone could abandon a member of their family when they need them most is beyond me, but that's what a place like this is so needed!
Since they've opened in December of 2004, SAINTS has had over a hundred and fifty animals come in through it's doors. Forty-nine of them have been adopted into wonderful loving homes. Forty-two have passed away in loving care at SAINTS and the remaining 65 still call SAINTS their home.
I'm so glad there are pople like this in the world.

How wonderful! That's what I like about Best Friends (in Utah)-- they'll give a forever home to any animal that needs one.

Thanks for the tip-- I'll try to send a donation their way!

I'll have to check out the place in Utah... I love this place too, because they have farm animals there too. I don't think she'll refuse an animal in need!

Hi Andrea! I finally got internet back, so I can catch up on your blog. I've missed you. :-)

What a sweet post about a wonderful organization. You're right, though---how tragic is it that someone could boot their old or sick pup? Human beings come in such different varieties, yes? Are the good ones balancing out the bad? Here's hoping!

I want a dog so badly. I look forward to being settled enough again to adopt one, whenever that may be...
