These buildings stand about two blocks away from my apartment, waiting for development. They are the Versatile Shipyards skeletons, and one day they'll be the new part of the Lonsdale Quay Public Market. Can't you just imagine stores and restaurants in this open courtyard shot? I'm really enjoying the buildings in this state though, they have so much soul. I really hope the developers don't screw them up...

Wow, Andrea, great photos. I especially like the one taken from inside (?) the structure---just fabulous. I, too, hope the developers create something that honors the spirit of the structures you've captured here.
